Breather filters/dryers
Every movement in the hydraulic system causes the volume in the tank to change, with ambient air taken in (“inhaled”) or air inside the take being expelled (“exhaled”). Without efficient breather filters, dust particles and moisture can enter the fluid directly. HYDAC breather filters and adsorption dryers act as a protective shield: the breather filters clean the incoming air, and the adsorption dryers actively remove moisture. This prevents corrosion on the inside of the tank and stops chemical decomposition of the oil (oxidation). This increases system reliability, while drastically reducing the costs for oil change and component wear.
